McMinnville, OR - An unusually warn and sunny Erik Anderson Memorial Icebreaker brought 16 qualifying marks on the women's side and 15 on the men's, as the Linfield Wildcats had a great start to their 2015 outdoor season. Highlights from the meet include Jake Mihelich's performances in the 200m and 400m races, putting him at the #4 and #2 spots on the Top 10 List. Mihelich's 400 time would have put him at #5 in the nation last season so it is likely the Mihelich will be competing at this year's NCAA Outdoor National Championships in May. Kennedy Johnson improved to #9 on the Top 10 List for triple jump and he also claimed the event title. Freshman Patricia Reeves and Olivia Bannerot tied for first in high jump both landing #10 on the Top 10 List. Other event winners include Ellie Schmidt in the 200m and Kate Shear in the Javelin. Shear is looking good to qualify for the second consecutive year to the NCAA National Championships. Blow are a list of Linfield NWC qualifying marks.
